Expensive Home Improvement

Expensive Home Improvement evolved into itself in 2005. 

It was then that I, Dave Brown, decided to take a year off from being a night club disc jockey and build an addition on my house.  From the lally columns in the basement to the ridge vent of the roof, all was done by me.  Everything, the framing, the wiring, drywall, the taping, the painting, ceiling fans, windows, doors, trim and floors.

Not to mention architectural design and submission of said drawings to proper authorities for municipal approval.

Upon the completion of my addition, much to my chagrin, finding another DJ gig proved less easy than had I expected.

From my new gained experience, a plan revealed itself.  I posted signs in neighborhood establishments & on craigslist.

“Fully insured, Honest, Reliable, Handyman. Local References.”

Jobs rolled in.  Referrals were made. Call backs continue.  Rely on me.  You’ll be in good hands. Dave Brown, Home Improvement.
